Master the Transparency Act with automated processes
Turn mandatory due diligence from a burden into a competitive advantage. Our module automates data collection and ensures full traceability across your entire supply chain.
The Norwegian Transparency Act (Åpenhetsloven) requires Norwegian companies to take active responsibility for human rights and decent working conditions within their supply chains. For many, this entails a significant administrative burden and complex manual processes.
Datakvalitet simplifies this work through a dedicated module that automates information gathering and structures due diligence assessments. We move the process from disorganized spreadsheets into a controlled digital ecosystem, enabling you to meet regulatory requirements with confidence and precision.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS & COMPLIANCE
Ensuring full compliance with the Transparency Act
While system support significantly simplifies the work, the Act sets requirements for publication and board approval that must be handled manually.
Annual deadline for the statement
The Act requires the company to publish a statement on its due diligence assessments no later than June 30th each year, or in the event of significant changes to the company's risk assessments.
Publication requirements
The statement must be easily accessible on the company's website. Datakvalitet's module generates the report data, but the publication itself must take place on your external platforms.
Board responsibility and signatures
To meet the formal requirements of the Act, the statement must be signed in accordance with the rules in Section 3-5 of the Accounting Act. This normally entails signatures from the CEO and the entire Board of Directors.
Ongoing duty to provide information
Remember that the duty to provide information applies year-round. Any person has the right to information regarding how your business handles adverse impacts, with a maximum response time of three weeks.
